Field day is a full day of fun!  This year it will be on Friday, June 19 with a rain date of Monday, June 22  (the last day of school is June 23rd).  The morning will be spent running relay races, making a craft, and having snack.  We have a picnic lunch on the lawn (more information about lunch will follow).  All kindergarten students will attend in the morning and be dismissed at 12:30 - right after lunch.  Grades one through four stay for the afternoon program which consists of four stations.

Volunteers will be needed to help set-up and run relay races, pick-up and organize lunch orders, serve refreshments, and supervise the afternoon’s activities.  Class volunteers will be needed to stay with the class and help the teacher for the day.  The day begins at 8:30 and ends at 3:30.  There are a few positions that would only require a couple of hours in the middle of the day.  Also, two  people are needed to help pop popcorn in the cafeteria, and one or two to pick up lunch orders.  You could bring your little one for these positions if you needed to.  For safety reasons, no preschool siblings are allowed on the lawn during field day.  If you have any questions, please call Brenda Gooshaw Samson at 870-1180.
